Close your eyes
Focus on your breath
Inhale and exhale slowly
Now, bring to mind something that you desire
It can be anything from a material possession to an experience or relationship
You know, a goodie
An expensive car or a fine fruit
You want the goodies, bet you've thought about it
Maybe it's got you all hot and bothered
So you want something, you want it badly
And you know what? That's okay
Wanting things is a part of being alive
But there's a difference between wanting something and needing it
Ask yourself, why do I want this?
What do I think will happen if I get this thing?
Do I think it will make me happy?
Maybe you can say to yourself, "slow down"
Now imagine yourself having gotten what you want
Ask yourself, "Am I happy now?
What is different about my life now that I have what I wanted?
Do the things that were important before still matter now?"
Take some time to reflect on these questions
The key to self-evolution is detachment (Detachment)
To detach from the goodies around you
If you're looking for the goodies, keep on looking 'cause they stay in the jar
Repeat after me: I let go of my wants and I am happy with what I have
I am free from desire (I am free from desire)
I am free from fear (I am free from fear)
This is Nirvana
This is enlightenment (This is enlightenment)
This is blissful (This is blissful)
The goodies are within
These are the true goodies of life (The goodies are within)
When you feel ready, open your eyes and sit with yourself
